대중문화와 주류 문화 속 마법과 영적인 소재를 탐구해본다. 페미니스트의 상징으로 서의 “마녀”는 가부장제와 이성애 중심적 젠더 개념을 뒤흔들어보고, 마법의 힘을 빌려 개인 각각의 현실을 개선하고 수정한다. 퍼포먼스에 참여하여 관객의 자아를 풀어내고 재창조할 수 있는 마법의 길로 초대합니다!
Explores the uprise of spiritual and occult practices within pop culture and the mainstream. The witch as feminist icon is destabilizing patriarchal and heteronormative conceptions of identity, gender, sexuality and body. Practitioners of Magick are able to modify and enhance reality to meet their individual needs. The audience is invited to participate in a transformative initiation ritual to the alchemic path of dissolving and reinventing the self.

로사나 그라프는 함부르크에서 거주하고 작업한다. 그는 포르츠하임 대학 함부르크 ( the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg) 와 골드스미스 런던에서 미술을 공부하였고 2015년 함부르그에서 The Karl H. Rosanna Graf (*1988 in Munich) lives and works in Hamburg. She studied fine arts at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg and Goldsmith College London. She is the winner of the Karl H. Ditze Prize, Hamburg, 2015. Her work was shown in several solo- and group exhibitions such as Fuzzy Dark Spot – Videokunst from Hamburg, collection Falkenberg, Hamburg, 2019; Shroom! Hallo Festspiele, Hamburg, 2019; Confessing Animals, Strizzi, Cologne, 2018; Primal_Centered_She, Kunstverein München, München, 2017; Gucci Cruise, VIDEONALE 16, 2016, Bonn. Her artistic practice refers to the fragility of identity, to the disorderly, the grotesque and paradoxes, to belief systems and the connection between spirituality and technology. The mostly female or gender-unspecific characters in Rosanna Graf‘s works are often found in sur real interspaces, seemingly detached from the space-time continuum, in which they fight with their voices against their own pictorial creation. The relationship to the viewer is also repeatedly negotiated; in interactive performances, the psychological and spiritual self of the viewer is placed at the centre. The viewer enters the stage and becomes part of the spectacle.
